* Hydraulic ejector forward is controlled with single stage pressure and two speeds.
* Retract controls are with single pressure and single speed
Ejector Forward (as per the above settings)
Hydraulic ejector is triggered when machine is at mould open-stop position.
At this position, the delay timer of 0.00 sec triggers the ejector at 160 bar pressure and a forward speed of 50%.
On reaching the trigger point 50 mm, the speed is changed to 50%.
Ejector forward movement is stopped at 160 mm.
At the forward end if multi stroking is not selected the stay forward time is actuated for the set time of 0 seconds
Ejector Retract (as per the above settings)
The ejector retracts at 25 bar pressure with 15% speed.
The same sequence is repeated once again as the multi - stroke count is set at 2 (upto a maximum of 9 strokes).
Parallel Ejector
The parallel ejector option when selected will restrict the maximum pressure settable to 120 bar from 160 bar and speed from 50% to 30%.
The ejector will operate in parallel with mould open from the mould open position set on the page (here 125 mm). This start position is given to start ejection after the cores in the mould are in safe position.
Ejector on stroke base
When this program is selected corresponding stroke should be set in “Mould opening pos for parallel”. During mould opening mould will stop after the set position is reached. Then the ejector will be actuated, after completion of ejector operation mould will continue to open up to mould open stop position.
This sequence will work only on semi/fully auto cycle.
Forward with guard door open
The ejector moves forward with the guard door open or opening. Ejector retraction is possible only with guard door closed.
This option will act only in semi auto cycling
Return with guard door open
The ejector retracts with the guard door open. This will be active only in semi-auto mode.
Cycle start with guard door close
This is applicable only in semi auto mode and the next cycle starts only when the guard door is closed. For the first time operation in this mode, the manual cycle start switch has to be pressed.
Multi stroke operation
Using the program option “Multi-stroke," the ejector can be programmed, with a given number of ejector strokes. During multi-stroking the ejector moves between the ejector-forward stop and the ejector multi- stroke back stop.
By multi-stroking near the forward position the cycle time is not unnecessarily lengthened.
Selection of this option in machines fitted with pneumatically operated safety gate will disable the automatic gate open at the end of each cycle in semi-auto mode.
Ejector Limit Switch in mold
This can be selected if the option is available in the machine and the ejector is to be controlled through the limit switches present in the mould.
When this option is selected the stroke dependent controls will be bypassed.
Ejector forward valve ON in stay forward time
If this selection is made, the hydraulic ejector continues to apply force on the ejection system of the mould even after the forward position is reached for a set duration of 1.5 seconds as set in the page.
This feature is useful to keep the spring return ejector systems in the forward position during stay forward period.
This feature will be active only if multi stroke is not selected and machine is in semi auto or auto cycle.
Ejector return valve OFF at end position
This selection will switch off the ejector, once the ejector return stop is reached. This will prevent the ejector from going to extreme end position each time.
This can used if the ejector system of the mould doesn’t need hydraulic force to keep the ejector in the back position.
